Acknowledgement of Country
Bellingen Psychology acknowledges the Gumbaynggirr people, the Traditional Custodians of the Country on which our practice is based.
I pay my respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge the continuing connection of Gumbaynggirr people to Country, culture, community and knowledge.
I recognise the enduring impacts of colonisation and the importance of listening, respect, self-determination and culturally safe practice in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
I extend my respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples accessing psychological support through Bellingen Psychology.
A considered, private way to begin
Therapy is paced and structured around your individual needs, with space to understand what is happening, develop practical strategies and create sustainable change.
Rosie works collaboratively with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, difficulties with emotional regulation, life transitions or questions around neurodivergence.
All Bellingen Psychology appointments are currently provided via secure telehealth.
Bellingen Psychology currently provides psychological therapy exclusively via secure telehealth, allowing adults across NSW to access support regardless of whether they live in a metropolitan, regional or rural area.
People often seek psychological support when the ways they have been managing life no longer feel sustainable.
You may be functioning, working and meeting your responsibilities while privately experiencing anxiety,
exhaustion, overthinking or a growing sense that something needs to change.
over time it can start to look like:
Identity & life transition confusion
Mental load & overwhelm
Burnout & performance pressure
Overthinking & self-doubt
Therapy at Bellingen Psychology is about making space for the parts of you that are tired, overwhelmed, or carrying too much - so things can start to feel steadier and less heavy.
THERAPEUTIC WORK TENDS TO WORK THROUGH THREE PHASES:
Clarity.
Understanding what’s happening beneath the surface
Regulation.
Creating steadiness in your nervous system
Integration.
Making sustainable changes
